Sheela Na Gig
Changeling, is a one page Oglaf story.
A young Changeling is told by his King that he is to be exchanged for a human child. The changeling does not wish to live among humans and begins crying bitterly. Later a husband and wife note that their baby is crying more than usual.
The King's throne appears to be nest-like, as do those of his courtiers. Given that a changeling is a type of Faerie/Fae, it is likely the King and his subjects are this type of magical being.
- "come away, O human child, to the waters and the wild"
- "probably just colic"
The alt-text is a line from W.B. Yeats' 1886 poem 'The Stolen Child' and seems to confirm the King is a noble Fae of some kind.
